We currently supply
over 1,000 retail equipment dealers in South Dakota, North
Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, northern Iowa,
upper Michigan, northern Illinois and eastern Montana with
innovative attachments and specialized farm equipment from manufacturers around the world.

Edney Distributing Co. was established in 1951 by W.
Fredrick and Ferne Edney in Huron, South Dakota. Fred was
67 at the time. His wife, Ferne, handled the company's bookkeeping
from their home, while the warehouse, a rented space in a lumberyard
building, was managed by Fred. |

| In 1955 their son, W. Milton Edney,
joined the firm, and following the death of Fred in 1960, became president
of the newly incorporated business. His brother, Dale
L. Edney, came aboard in 1962 and served as Vice President until
his retirement in 1993. Ferne Edney continued serving as Secretary-Treasurer
and Office Manager until 1974. |

In 1974, a third generation of Edneys began their career in the family
business when W. Douglas Edney joined
the company, serving as the corporate Vice President of Edney
Distributing Company, Inc.. |

| This evolving management team has seen the steady growth of the Company
to its present form. |
|
|

|
Our employees are also owners. Milton
and Dale established an Employee
Stock Ownership Plan years ago, allowing everyone to share in the

Most of the manufacturers for
whom we distribute products have been business partners with us for
many years, some dating back to the 1950s. However,
we are continually searching for new products to better help our dealers
meet their custormers' needs.
